Mosaic Tile Art is a textured painting produced by permanently piecing together broken bits of ceramic and mosaic glass, natural stone and found objects to express abstract thought. For me mosaics are analogous to human life. We are all forced to deal with the reality of broken hearts, egos, and dreams. Like a mosaic, we must take our own personal fragments and glue them back together creating wisdom, strength and beauty. As a mosaic tile artist, I see potential purpose and beauty in busted objects. Stained glass is perfect for mosaic projects such as tile mosaics, mosaic tile backsplash, mosaic furniture, mosaic glass art, wall art, mosaic tile art, stained glass, arts & crafts and any custom mosaic project best for artists, designers, decorators, tile contractors, builders and all creative people. Our glass is mostly opaque, smooth on both sides, and 2mm in thickness. Glass mosaic tiles is sold by the color in 13oz bags with an assorted mixture of different size glass pieces. The 13oz bag covers roughly a 6 inch square surface with 1/8 inch- 1/4 inch grout joints. Katie Hall Mosaics is Atlanta, GA based but will gladly ship anywhere in the USA.
